Pearl Puff Basket

This mini basket is worked in joined rounds from the bottom up, with a sturdy ribbed texture created by alternating dc and front post double crochet. The playful puff-stitch rim adds a beaded crown effect that pulls the rim in, creating a bowl shape. Uses approximately one skein of Lily Sugar’n Cream cotton. Finished size: approx. 5.5 in. diameter × 3 in. tall, but both the width and height are totally customizable. Simply crochet more or fewer base rounds, and more or fewer side rounds to adjust the size. Includes clear, step-by-step instructions with standard U.S. terms. Written for intermediate crocheters, but adventurous beginners can follow with some post-stitch and puff-stitch practice. Perfect as a desk organizer, plant pot cover, or gift basket.
