These boutique-worthy baskets made from scrap yarn are best sellers at the outdoor artisan market hosted by the Billy Goat Saloon in my little mountain town every summer.
This is a use-what-you've-got project for when you find yourself with a lot of odds and ends of yarn. Mix yarns of different weights and textures, holding 7 strands together at once.
Yarn
Any yarns from fingering to bulky/chunky weight, about 1 1/4 pound (550 g) of mixed yarn scraps for a small basket or 2 1/4 pound (1 kg) for a large basket
