Pumpkin Trick-or-Treat bag

**For trick-or-treating fun, or to hold the candies for your scary little visitors.** This pumpkin-shaped felted bag is knit in the round from the bottom up. The finished size depends on the yarn used - the bigger the yarn, the bigger the bag - and on how much felting is done. The green border of the bag is knit from stitches picked up on the brim, and the green i-cord handles grow from the border. The decorative leaves are knit separately. The bag and the leaves are then felted, and decorative leaves are sewn to the bag later. Since this project will be felted, it isn't important to get the exact gauge. It is important that the gauge feels really loose, though. Bulky or super-bulky yarn is recommended, but you can also use **worsted-weight yarn, help double**. In this case, you will need more than twice the yardage, 600 m to 700 m. For a marled effect, use two slightly different colors of yarn, like Ultra Alpaca *Tiger’s Eye mix 6292* and *Candied Yam Mix 6268* for the body; *Pea Soup Mix 6275* and Peat Mix 6277 for the leaves.
