Névé Kids

**Launch offer (offer valid until October 10th): Add Névé Kids and Névé Adults to your cart, and you will only pay for this one!** A child-sized version of ‘Névé” for adults, this design was inspired by a vintage ski-sweater and features a simple colour work motif using space-dyed yarn mixed with a flat-coloured yarn. The classic sweater shape is updated with dropped shoulders and visible tapered waist and sleeve shaping, then finished off with modern roll-up trimmings. Worked from the top down, you will start flat with the back neck and shoulders, then knit the back yoke panel before picking up the shoulder stitches and knitting the front yoke panel, whilst shaping the neckline using short rows. The body and sleeves are worked in the round, incorporating visible decreases as you go. SIZES (chest circumference): 4Y: 69 cm 6Y: 74.5 cm 8Y: 85.5 cm 10Y: 91 cm 12+Y: 96.5 cm YARN “Ideal” by Manos del Uruguay 100% Polwarth wool 219yds / 200m = 3.5oz / 100g skein 4.5 - 5.5 mm (US 7-9) needles Or any worsted-weight yarn that knits to the same gauge. METERAGE NEEDED MC : “Aquatic”, 1.5 (2, 2, 2.5, 3) skeins CC1 : “Natural”, 1 (1.5, 2, 2, 3) skeins GAUGE (In colour work worked flat) 18 stitches and 23 rows to 10 x 10 cm on 4.5 - 5.5 mm needles (US 7-9) (I used 4.5 mm (US 7) needles, but I have quite a loose tension). MATERIALS 1 x 4.5 mm straight needles. 1 x 4.5 mm circular needle, 80 cm long for the body + 25 cm long for the sleeves, unless using the magic loop method). 1 x 4 mm circular needle for the ribbing and roll-top finishings, 80 cm long for the body and 25 cm long for the neckline and sleeves (unless using the magic loop method).
