Aporia

**This pattern is available both in English and French.** I love a good project that only takes one skein of yarn - I’m not the only one, right? Aporia is the sister pattern to my [Kodama][1]. It uses the same process and the same key elements. Soft, squooshy garter stitch is paired with an interesting detail for a fully reversible result. The difference here is the technique. With Aporia, you can enjoy English ribbing (not brioche). This stitch creates a gentle wave effect and adds beautiful texture to the piece. Aporia is worked flat, in one piece. The name comes from a butterfly’s wing - when I first began this project, it looked both delicate and intriguing. **YARN** 1 skein of La Bien Aimée « Twist Nouveau » shown here in *Vibin'.* Or approx 400 meters (435 yards) of fingering weight yarn. **FINISHED MEASUREMENTS** Wingspan: 135 cm Height: 34 cm **Note about the size/yarn requirement:** This pattern is designed to match the amount of yarn that you have. Avec Aporia, vous pouvez goûter au plaisir des côtes anglaises (pas de brioche). Ce point crée un doux effet de vague et ajoute une belle texture à la pièce. Aporia se tricote à plat, en une seule pièce.
