I'm the Gingerbread man socks is a cute and fun seasonal knit and the design for this year's sock gift set from my business Tea Cake + Make ( previous years have included my Woodland Joy socks, Snow Day socks and Winter Holiday Socks). The sample shown is knitted in 4ply 75% Merino / 25% Nylon yarn from The Knitting Shed, Nicola and Louise dye stunning yarns and can be found at Theknittingshed.com Approximate quantities for; UK size 4-8 EU 37-41 US 6-10 MC - 40g 146 m / 160 yrds Penny Dreadful CC1 - 40g 146 m / 160 yrds Wild Strawberry CC2 - 20g 73 m / 80 yrds Milk and Honey 2.25 mm / US 1.5 DPNs or circular needles for magic loop. Use needles of your preference to achieve advised gauge. This design is knitted cuff down with a slip stitch heel flap and turn and finishes with a wedge toe. In this pattern there is a stitch count for; Small 56 sts - circumference 16.5 cm/ 6.5" Medium 64 sts - circumference 18.5 cm/ 7.25" Large 72 sts - circumference 21 cm/ 8.25" If you purchase this pattern I hope you enjoy the stitching.
