Wanda recently discovered a spell in her beloved grimoire that wove in her ends as she knit!! She was so delighted by it (as we all would be) that she whipped up this little sweater dress in time for her big Halloween dinner party! Of course all her besties will be coming and she wouldn’t be caught dead in last year’s outfit. For shame! **Finished Measurements** Approx. 7” (17.5 cm) tall and 8.5” (21 cm) toy head circumference when stuffed. Wanda’s hat is approx. 3” (7.5 cm) tall. **Needles** Size 1 (2.5 mm) double-pointed needles (dpn) or other needles preferred for small circumference knitting. **Notions** Yarn needle, Polyfil for stuffing, black & white felt (for eyes), waste yarn. **Yarn** Leading Men Showstopper mini skein (75% Superwash Merino & 25% Nylon; 92 yd [84 m]/1 oz [20 g]): Green Gables (A), Spritely Endeavors (B), Safety Dance (C), Darkest Hour (D), Sweet Cheeks (E); 1 skein each. **Gauge** 30 sts and 38 rnds = 4” (10cm) in stockinette st. Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the correct gauge. *Note: Gauge is not super critical in this pattern but will affect yardage estimates. Use a needle size appropriate to the yarn you're using.* **Notes:** -This pattern is worked seamlessly in the round from the top down. -For best results, don’t overstuff the toy. You shouldn’t be able to see the stuffing between the sts. -Wanda’s eyes & facial features can be customized to whatever shape, placement and color you’d like them to be. For the sample I used Color D (black) for the mouth X’s & Color A (dk. green) for the mole. -If interested in using safety eyes, it will be best to place those after Rnd 30 of the head, before you begin decreases. -Instructions are written using dpns as a default for small circumference construction. Make alterations as needed if using another type of needle or another method of small circumference knitting.
