Fools Cap

This is a set of instructions for how to make this charming Fool's Cap! It features really fun texturing, and adorable points that have enough structure to stand on their own, or can be shaped to flop downwards. Stitches used (US crochet terms used): dc = double crochet bpdc = back post double crochet Inc dc = two dc in the same st Fpdc = front post double crochet Sl st = slip st dc5tog = 5 dc together (also called a bobble stitch) Materials: 4.00mm, 5.00mm and 6.00mm hook Work this piece with worsted weight yarn. Use a huge variety of textures and colors to achieve a funky look! Combine smooth yarns with textured ones, and even faux fur ones! I love these beanies as a fantastic stash buster, using up an assortment of odds and ends leftover from other projects.
