I grew up around Lake Erie and I’ve always loved walking the beaches and looking for shells and lucky stones. This is something we did as a family and it is one of my favorite memories. This headband is knit in super bulky weight yarn and uses size US 13/9 mm circular needles. This headband is knit in the round. This is a spin off of my Lake Erie Tote bag design and I’m so excited for it and I hope you all love the design. I love the look of this headband and I’m so glad I get to share it with you all! I have video tutorials included for the special stitch. Super bulky weight (size 6). I used Malabrigo Rasta in Olive, Honey and Clover Fiber Co. in Birds of Paradise, Nella’s Cottage in Gemstone and Pocono Yarn Co. in Pond. Other examples would be Lion Brand Wool Ease Thick & Quick, Lion Brand Hometown or Homespun, BAAH Mammoth, We are Knitters The Wool or any size 6 yarn. Upon purchasing you will receive a digital PDF file of the pattern with step by step directions of how to make the headband.
