Chal Mayo en Córdoba

Mayo en Córdoba es un chal ligero y vaporoso con forma de media luna (crescent shawl en inglés) pensado para ser bastante más ancho que largo y aportar comodidad a la vez que elegancia. Fue creado para celebrar el primer festival Creativamente Córdoba, 2025. Tienes dos opciones en este chal: si te gusta poco profundo, sigue la opción sin vueltas cortas; si te gusta más ancho, teje la opción con vueltas cortas. Está inspirado en el mes más importante en la ciudad de Córdoba: mayo. En él he querido representar su Festival de los patios (patrimonio de la Humanidad) y la feria de mayo. El Chal Mayo en Córdoba original tiene una forma de media luna y unas medidas aproximadas de 210 x 58 cm (opción con vueltas cortas) o 210 x 44 cm (opción sin vueltas cortas). Estas corresponden a la prenda terminada y bloqueada. 800 metros (opción con vueltas cortas) o 750 metros (opción sin vueltas cortas) de la calidad Pure Merboo, de Yarnity, 80 % merino superfine y 20 % bambú 400 metros en 100 gramos, color Wallada. Si prefieres utilizar otra calidad, te recomiendo que uses una lana no muy gruesa (fingering o sport) que no tenga demasiado pelo ni muchos cambios de color para que los calados destaquen más. Puedes utilizar el hilado que quieras, de cualquier grosor, pero ten en cuenta que puede variar el tamaño y usarás diferente cantidad de material del original.
