We each started with the same cable motif “Ogee X” from her excellent book Knitted Cable Sourcebook, modifying it to create two totally different patterns with the same origin. I named mine after the Irish word for “star.” You can find a video all about this collaboration on Norah's YouTube channel :) Réalta is a gender and size inclusive drop shoulder cabled sweater. This pattern has two fit types, each graded to ten sizes. The pattern begins with a saddle shoulder construction and is worked seamlessly. Armhole shaping is included for the larger sizes, and all sizes include shoulder shaping. This results in a relaxed, boxy sweater that still has an excellent fit. Réalta is worked top-down, making it easy to adjust the body and sleeve lengths to your personal preference. **SIZING** Fit I is graded based on a traditional women’s sizing chart and Fit II is graded based on a traditional men’s sizing chart. Both fit types are graded to 10 sizes, designed to fit bodies with bust/chest measurements between 30-66" (75-165 cm). All sizes include an additional 8" (20 cm) of ease in the finished garment. See the Pattern Details PDFs linked above to see a full schematic. **SAMPLE** Photos show Fit I Size B worn with 8.5” / 21.5 cm of positive ease at the bust on a body with a height of 5’2” / 157 cm. **TESTERS** Check out the [Tester Showcase][4] to view the projects from all my wonderful test knitters! This can be a great way to get color & yarn inspiration, as well as a chance to see the fit of this garment on a wide range of different bodies. **YARN** Kelbourne Woolens Lucky Tweed (heavy worsted/aran weight; 100% non-superwash Merino wool; 210 yds / 190 m per 100 g). Sample is shown in Golden.
