ChaiLatteTea Blanket

**Hi there!** ChaiLatte Tea is rich, sweet and spicy, warm and fragrant… I designed this pattern with that feeling in mind :) This is an overlay mosaic crochet pattern. The pattern has very detailed instructions, with text, chart and step by step pictures. Some basic overlay mosaic crochet knowledge is desirable (there are lots of free resources to learn on the Internet), but in any case I’ve included a basic introduction and description of the stitches used in this pattern for any adventurous crocheters who want to dive right in :) **Yarn & Hook size:** For the step-by-step pictures I used Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/4 with a 3 mm hook, but you can use whatever yarn & hook size you like, as long as they match and the gauge is correct **Gauge**: 18 dc and 16 rows in 10 cm **Difficulty**: intermediate **Terminology**: US terms **Materials required:** • Background: 18 skeins of Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/4 or 2900 m • Foreground: 15 skeins of Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/4 or 2400 m • 3 mm crochet hook • Tapestry needle • Scissors **Stitches used in this pattern**: • Chain (ch) • Single crochet (sc) • Double crochet (dc) • Treble crochet (tr) • Front post double crochet (fpdc) • Front post treble crochet (fptr) • Front post treble crochet two together (fptr2tog) • Puff stitch (puff) **Other abbreviations:** • Ch-sp: chain space • Sk st: skip stitch
