Inspired by the beautiful flower only found in the Swiss Alps, Edelweiss, known as “Stella Alpina” in Italy, Stella Crochet is the versatile pullover of your dreams. Stella is made top-down with a drop-shoulder construction and has perfectly fitted shoulders to eliminate excess fabric around the underarms. The pullover features a textured stitch that is light yet warm, with a wide over-sized fit and a split high-low hem. It’s finished with an elegant ribbing and subtle stripes. What sets Stella apart is its commitment to size inclusivity, ensuring that the shoulder drops gracefully in the same spot for all makers, irrespective of size. The meticulous details woven into this pullover promise a timeless piece that you'll find yourself reaching for time and time again. Stella Crochet was designed specifically to celebrate the first instalment of [knitfest 2025][3] in Zurich. Find its sister pattern, Stella Knit. #StellaCrochetPullover **SIZES + MEASUREMENTS** This pattern comes in 10 different sizes. CC: Apmezga, Pegasus (72% Kid Mohair, 28% Silk, 25g, 210m) in color F-159 (lace weight). **HOOKS:** 4 mm or size needed to meet gauge, 3.5mm or 1 size smaller for neckline. **NOTIONS:** tapestry needle, stitch markers, scissors. **GAUGE** 23 sts x 8.5 pairs of rows worked flat after blocking = 10 cm x 10 cm / 4 x 4 in. *Stitch pattern for gauge, measuring a pair of sc/LdcFLO rows:* Ch as many as desired – recommend a minimum of 35. Row 1: Ch1, sc to end, turn. Row 2: Ch1, dc in the first st, LdcFLO to last st, Ldc in the last st, turn. Repeat the 2-row pattern for the desired gauge swatch size. *Be sure to block and check gauge before starting by making a big enough gauge swatch (at least 15 x 15 cm / 6 x 6 in). Certain materials might sag, and fabric may extend too much with drape, so adjust hook size appropriately.* [1]: https://knit-fest.com/knitfest-shop [2]: https://nomadstitches.com/newsletter [3]: https://knit-fest.com/
