도안 상세 설명 구글번역기로 번역하기
The design was inspired by a Rose Window in Chartres Cathedral. A dark or light mesh overlay can be chosen to give the appearance of a stained glass window.
The glass part of the window can be worked in eight differently coloured concentric rounds or by using a variegated yarn. Separate patterns are given. The ribs of the window are worked over the glass at the same time. The circular window is then transformed into a square.
More suitable for intermediate crocheters as it includes post stitches and working in the third loop but there are extensive notes and suggestions and photographs of the trickier parts. It could be used for blankets or cushion covers.
Any yarn could be used but the pattern was designed in DK (light worsted) weight yarn and the squares come out at about 8ins (20cm) depending on the exact tension/gauge used. Each square uses in the region of 88-95yds (80-85m), depending on tension/gauge chosen. This is split fairly equally between the glass and the rest.
Tension/gauge is not critical but should be considered a fairly average one.
Made in worsted weight the size is likely to be between 9 and 10ins across and would use proportionally more yarn.
Very many thanks to my excellent testers, Heike, Karen, Laura and Sylke who helped by finding a couple of mistakes and showing me where extra photographs and details could be helpful.
