Malwa Sweater

Imagine walking in an idyllic countryside with small wooden houses and gardens full of colorful flowers. Malwa Sweater is a colorwork pullover with a circular yoke featuring a botanical motif, inspired by blooming hollyhocks. The pattern comes in two options: roosimine or stranded colorwork. The sweater is worked top down in the rounds, seamless. The length of the body and sleeves can be easily adjusted. The body is straight, same as sleeves which are only tapered at the wrist. The neckline, body and sleeves are finished with an i-cord. You can choose between a long-sleeved sweater or a short-sleeved tee. The pattern comes with a video tutorial showing the roosimine Estonian inlay technique. You will be able to make it even if you have no experience with this technique - as was proven by test knitters! **Sizes** The sweater is graded in 10 sizes and meant to be worn with 5-15 cm (2-6”) positive ease. Chest circumference of the sweater: 85, 92, 100 (108, 115, 123, 131) {138, 146, 154} cm 33.5, 36, 39.5 (42.5, 45, 48.5, 51.5) {54.5, 57.5, 60.5}“ You can find other dimensions in the attached photo. **Please note that size 10 wasn’t tested due to the lack of test knitters. If you would like to knit this size, please let me know so that we can arragne an individual test knit for you.** Both featured sweaters were made in size 2 with 7 cm / 2.75” positive ease at the bust. **Yarn** Fingering weight yarn (ca. 350-400 m / 383-437 y in 100 g). For the roosimine pattern you can use fingering yarn held double or single strand of DK weight yarn. The featured stranded colorwork tee (natural) was made with Bio Balance from BC Garn, in natural colorway 01 (MC) and red currant 21 (CC). **Needles** 3 mm / US 2.5 (i-cord), 3.25 mm / US 3 (stockinette) and 3.75 mm / US 5 (colorwork) circular needles, 60-100 cm / 24-40” (or other size to obtain gauge). **Gauge** In stockinette stitch, worked in the round, after wet blocking, on 3.25 mm (US 3) needles: 26 sts x 34 rnds = 10 x 10 cm / 4 x 4”. Dekolt, tułów i rękawy wykończone są i-cordem. Projekt można wykonać w wersji z długimi rękawami lub jako bluzeczkę z krótkimi rękawkami. Wzór zawiera tutorial video pokazujący technikę roosimine. Bez problemu wykonasz sweter, nawet jeśli nie masz doświadczenia w tej technice - czego dowiodły testerki! **Rozmiary** Wzór jest rozpisany w 10 rozmiarach, rekomendowane 5-15 cm luzu.
