A Splash of Sunlight

As light, as light as can be, the Splash of Sunshine shawl echoes two motifs from the [Funston shawl][1], my 2025 mystery. It’s a satisfyingly simple pattern, and a great introduction to lace knitted in mohair and silk. The top uses a T increase to present a beautiful smooth triangle, and the lace charts (with written instructions also included) are very straightforward. This shawl begins a guided journey through the motifs and techniques in Funston, but broken down into smaller projects so that each shawl is a manageable step and beautiful project on its own.
