This sweater’s namesake, the Dryad, finds its roots in Greek mythology, and is often described as a nymph inhabiting a tree or forest. **CONSTRUCTION** The Dryad Sweater is a top-down raglan sweater with mock cables and ribs at the neck, wrist cuffs and hemline. German Short Rows shape the back, after which raglan increases are worked in the round until the underarm. Sleeves are put on hold while the rest of the body is worked until the lower waist. The mock cables and rib pattern is replicated at the hemline.
