A whisper of lace, a shimmer of light, **Fairy Kiss** is a delicate, airy scarf worked in slip-stitch lace that mimics blooming petals and dappled woodland shade. Don’t let the intricate look fool you: this design uses simple techniques to create floral texture and openwork, making it surprisingly approachable and endlessly enchanting on the needles. • **Choose yarns that are single-ply or loosely plied for better drape. Blends with silk, bamboo, or Tencel will also enhance the drape and fluidity of the fabric.** • The scarf is a rectangular shape, knitted from one end to another on a bias. • The size of the scarf is easy to adjust. Cast on more or fewer stitches to adjust the width, work more or fewer repeats to change the length. • The pattern can be worked from the written instructions or charts. --------------- **YARN:** **[Townhouse Yarns Fade St 4ply][1]** (70% SW Merino, 30%Silk, 400 m /100g) * Main Color (MC) - **Pure Majesty** * Contrast Color (CC) - **Cupcake** Or any similar fingering weight yarn in 2 contrasting colors **NEEDLES:** US #4 / 3.5 mm circular needles (or as required to get the gauge) **NOTIONS:** crochet hook for casting on (optional), darning needle, blocking wires (optional). **GAUGE:** 17 sts x 19 rows = = 4” (10 cm) in pattern (blocked).
