This top began with a craving: something airy and easy to wear. A light summer layer that could just as well work in cooler seasons, with a shirt peeking from underneath. The result is Sugar, a relaxed tee with texture. A simple, satisfying make with a few clever details — and all the space you need to make it your own. It is a simple 2-row repeat, easy to memorise without needing to refer to the written pattern. Cast on multiple of 2 sts + 1. Row 1 (WS): K. Row 2 (RS): K1, *p1, k1*, rep *–* to end. Repeat rows 1–2. CONSTRUCTION Sugar is worked mostly seamlessly from the top down, with only the deep neck portion worked flat. The top is finished with folded reverse stockinette edges.
