This timeless design is perfect for gifting and is sure to become a beloved heirloom piece for the little ones in your life. My second son, Weston Walker, was born in June of 2025. This was the blanket I slowly worked on during his pregnancy, and this will be his special piece that he can hopefully pass down to his own littles one day! MATERIALS ========= **Yarn:** DK—[Lion Brand Baby Soft® Yarn][7] in colorway “Grey Print” * 60% Acrylic, 40% Nylon * 367 yds (335 m) per 4 oz (113 g) skein * Find this yarn on [lionbrand.com][8] or visit [yarnsub.com][9] to find comparable substitutes available in your region. **Yardage:** 4 skeins or 1350 (1234 m) **Yarn Substitution:** Substitute [Lion Brand Baby Soft® Yarn][10] with any similar light, DK-weight (category #3) yarn that matches gauge. Be sure to choose a durable, washable yarn for baby blankets. **Hook:** Size U.S. F/5 (3.75 mm) or size needed to obtain gauge **Notions:** Tapestry needle, scissors PATTERN NOTES ============= **Skill Level:** Easy **Stitch Counts:** Stitch counts are listed after each round. **Right Side/Wrong Side:** The right side will be facing you as you crochet each even-numbered round.
