I grew up around Lake Erie and I’ve always loved walking the beaches and looking for shells and lucky stones. This is something we did as a family and it is one of my favorite memories. This purse is knit in super bulky weight T shirt yarn and uses size US 15/10 mm circular needles. This purse is knit in the round. The handle is then knit and attached to the purse. I also bought some purse straps from Amazon as an additional accessory. This is a spin off of my Lake Erie Tote bag design and I’m so excited for it and I hope you all love the design. I love the look of this purse and I’m so glad I get to share it with you all! Video tutorials included for the special stitch, creating and attaching the handle and attaching the D rings. I also included links to the yarn and d rings I used in the pattern. T Shirt Yarn (size 6): I used T Shirt yarn from Amazon. Other examples would be Lion Brand Cover Story Lazy Days Thick & Quick, WAK The Tape, Big Twist T Shirt yarn, Hoooked Ribbon XL or any size 6 weight T Shirt or Ribbon yarn. Upon purchasing you will receive a digital PDF file of the pattern with step by step directions of how to make the purse. Measurements: 11 Inches tall by 10 inches wide Yardage: With knit handle approximately 130-135 yards/ 456-474 grams. Without knit handle approximately 115-120 yards/ 404-421 grams.
