Squirrel in a dress

The PDF file contains full instructions for knitting and finishing off a squirrel with knitted on tights/pantyhose and shoes and a choice of three removable dresses. The pattern is supplied as an instantly downloadable digital PDF file which is automatically emailed to you by Ravelry. Finished size: approx 23cm (9 inches) from the tip of the toes to the top of the head. The file is 19 pages long and contains over 80 detailed step-by-step photographs along with full pattern instructions and tips for stuffing, seaming and finishing neatly. The squirrel is knitted flat with worsted weight yarn on 3mm needles and 4ply/fingering weight yarn on 2.5mm for the shoes, legs and lower body. All pieces are seamed afterwards. The dresses are knitted flat using 4ply/5ply (fingering/sport weight) yarn on 2.75mm needles and seamed. There are 3 different dress designs included: two are knitted in two colours with different acorn themed colour-work designs, and the other in a single colour openwork pattern. The dresses can be removed but the tights/pantyhose and shoes are knitted as part of the animal.
