Wasp Nest Decoy

Learn to make a quick and easy wasp nest decoy to keep away those pesky bugs! Crochet decoys work because wasps will not inhabit another wasp's nest, so they see the decoy and stay away. I've had mine up for 2 years now and no longer have any wasp issues! Crocheted with thick acrylic yarn and stuffed with plastic bags, so it can withstand the outdoor elements. Length is roughly 13" and width is about 8" with circumference about 18." Confident beginner skill level. Photos and video are included to help you along the way. You will need: -Either two strands of size 4 yarn held together or a size 5 yarn. -6.5mm hook (any size between 6mm and 8mm will work depending on the yarn you choose. -Plastic bags or bubble wrap for stuffing. I don't suggest using poly fil in case it gets wet. -Scissors -Yarn needle to sew in ends
