May Bandana

The May Bandana is a headscarf featuring a ruffled edge and i-cord ties. This design is meant to be on the larger side to keep your head protected from the sun in the summer. A woollen version can be made for winter too ♡ Skill level - beginner & intermediate Finished bandana measurements: Height: 26-30 cm [11 inches] Width: 50-52 cm [20 inches] Skills required: Decreasing, picking up stitches, i-cord Notes: - For summer it is recommended to use cotton or linen yarn. For a winter version it is recommended to use wool. - The sample in the photos is made using Drops Belle yarn. - The size of this bandana is meant to be on the larger side. If you wish the bandana to be smaller, consider 3.5 mm [US 4] knitting needles and a higher gauge (21-22 stitches = 10 cm [4 inches]).
