**___** **___** <big><big><big>**Stained glass and leadlight**</big></big></big> <big>I’m guessing you have leftover yarn from previous projects like I do, and who doesn’t need a pattern to help use them up?</big> <big>The design reminded me of a leadlight surrounded doorway that I had seen in an article about the historic Theebine Hotel in Queensland, Australia.</big> <big>This is a fun and easy design.</big> <big>These stranded colourwork socks are worked toe up with a rounded wedge toe and with a heel flap and gusset.</big> **___** **___** <big>**Pattern information**</big> <big>**Sizing**</big> Adult – Small (Medium, Large) – S-60 (M-72, L-84) sts. Finished circumference (approx) – 16.5 (20, 23.5) cm/6.75 (8, 9.25) inches. <big>**Yarn**</big> Fingering weight sock yarn in 2 (or more) colours with good contrast. Allow 60-80 g for MC and 40-60 g for CC. Each chart repeat uses between 3-5 g of CC for a pair of socks. <big>**Gauge**</big> (worked in the round and measured after washing and laying flat to dry) 36 sts/40 rounds = 10 cm/4 inches over stranded colourwork. <big>**Needles**</big> (for working small circumference in the round) 2.25 mm/US1 needles (or size required to achieve gauge). <big>**Pattern formats** </big> The instructions for the construction of the socks are written and the colourwork pattern is both charted and written. A low vision accessible version of this pattern are also available. This version includes 24 point Arial all black text, no italics, no columns or tables and fully written instructions.
