*This is not a finished garment, this is a knitting pattern to create your own garment* **About the pattern** This is an advanced beginner/ intermediate drop shoulder sweater, worked top down in panels, knit in stockinette stitch. The back yoke is shaped using German Short Rows, and then the back panel is worked. The shoulders are picked up and intarsia is used to create the graphic on the front and/ or back. The front and back panels are then seamed together. Sleeve stitches are picked up and knit in the round. This pattern includes 35 cm of positive ease in the circumference of the garment. For a less oversized fit, consider using finer yarn or knit a smaller size. For reference, my bust measures 82 cm, I am 5'5 and wearing a size M in the pictures at the end of the pattern. **Techniques used** Long tail cast on 2 x 2 ribbing Stockinette st Switching needle size M1R (Make 1 Right) M1L (Make 1 Left) K2tog (Knit 2 Together) SSK (Slip, Slip, Knit) Picking up stitches Ruke cast off German Short Rows Backwards loop cast on Double folded collar Travelling loop (optional) **Materials** 5 mm needles / US 8 for the body and 20 cm cable (to make 40 cm interchangeable needles)/ circular needles for the arms. 4.5 mm needles / US 7 for ribbing. Darning needle for bind off, seaming and weaving ends. Tape measure. **Gauge** 18 sts x 23 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm (4" x 4") stockinette stitch, after blocking, on 5 mm (US 8) needles. Reaching gauge is very important to ensure the correct fit of the garment. **Yardage** See photos for yardage. **Yarn** Yarn used: Rowan Kid Classic, 70% Lambswool, 22% Mohair, 8% Polyamide 50 g, 140 m (153 yds) or anything with similar yardage / worsted / aran weight Colours used: Feather 828, Iron 892 Good substitution: Drops Air
