Amaryllis Vest and Cardigan

The Amaryllis Vest and Cardigan design is worked bottom up and very versatile. It offers instructions for sleeveless, ruffled sleeves, longer and straight sleeves as well as V-neckline and scoop neckline. This intermediate level pattern is made-to-measure, meaning you follow the dimensions of your own gauge swatch and get to choose yarn weight and hook size. It also means it is much wordier than graded patterns, but will get you all the info you need to get the perfect fit. The main stitch has been tried and tested with many different yarns and always looks beautiful (in my humble opinion). That said, for better results, I do recommend you stick to a super fine or fine yarn. To give you an idea of how much yarn you will need, the pattern comes with all yardage details from testers. But generally speaking, 650 to 1,840 yards of yarn should cover sizes XS-5XL.
