The Lucy tee is knitted seamlessly top down in a textural stitch pattern that consists only of knit and purl stitches. The tee is started at the back neck and increased to the full width of the upper back. Stitches are then picked up for the shoulders and worked as the front of the tee. The body is worked in the round, while increasing stitches first for the sleeves and later for both the sleeves and the body. The sleeves and body are separated at the underarm and then worked separately in the round. For the stitch patterns to show best, I recommend choosing unicolor or slightly tonal colorways. The Lucy tee can be worked in either a single strand of DK weight yarn or by holding one strand of fingering weight yarn together with a strand of silk mohair. The length of the body and sleeves are easily modified to suit your own body measurements. I recommend trying the tee on every now and then while working on it to make sure you get the perfect length for your style. The stitch pattern is charted only.
