Following in the footsteps of two creative visionaries - Dutch painter Piet Mondrian and French fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent - Mondrian Mitts turn iconic abstract art into a bold, wearable accessory. Make your mitts in the classic Mondrian palette - red, blue, yellow, white, and black - or choose five colours of your own. There is also a three-colour option for a simpler, more minimalist look. SKILL LEVEL This project is a relatively quick knit, thanks to the simplicity of garter stitch and straightforward mitt construction. However, the addition of intarsia introduces a layer of challenge and sophistication. Recommended for experienced knitters.
