13 Dot and Dash Vest

A modern, sleeveless knit featuring a playful textured pattern and clean i-cord edges. Worked seamlessly from the top down, it’s perfect for warm days or light layering, with a relaxed flattering fit and timeless style. The 13 Dot & Dash Vest is a beautifully textured sleeveless vest, perfect for sun-drenched days and effortlessly cool summer evenings. Crafted top-down, with knit and purl stitches, the vest features an intricate pattern of lines and dots. A small amount of ease is thoughtfully incorporated at the bust, ensuring a comfortable fit, and the gentle curve of the v-neck, achieved by a varying rate of increases, adds a contemporary twist to a timeless silhouette. Seamlessly integrated, the I-cord stitches form a clean edge at the neck and armholes, adding a touch of elegance. To begin, the Front Left is cast on at the shoulder and worked in pattern while increasing the Neckline and Armhole to the correct depth. This is repeated for the Front Right and the Back pieces are worked in the same manner. Next, an I-cord binding is applied to the Neckline edge and Armholes. The Front and Back pieces are joined and the Body is worked in the round. The waist is shaped to create a perfect fit, although, if preferred the Body can be worked straight to the hem.
