As the lace and stockinette stitch have the same gauge, you can replace any of the panels with stockinette stitch and it will not affect the finished measurements. The sweater is worked top-down and its length is easy to customize. There are two sleeve length options: short and long. Shaping is worked in stockinette sections only, making the project easier to manage for less experienced knitters.
