This measurement is prior to the insertion of the elastic. The skirt is designed with 2-3 inches (5-8 cm) of positive ease. Sample shown is knit in size XS. **MATERIALS** *Yarn* 1270 (1465, 1610, 1900, 2120) (2350, 2650, 2760, 3010, 3180) yds / 1160 (1340, 1470, 1735, 1940) (2150, 2425, 2525, 2750, 2910) m of DK weight yarn Sample uses Drops Belle in Rose Water (53% Cotton, 33% Rayon, 14% Linen/Flax), 131 yds (120 m) per 50-g skein. An alternate sample was also knit with Drops Belle in Silver.
