Rattan Scarf

**Overview:** Rattan scarf is worked in rows from tip to tip, along the length. First, increases are worked to shape the border at the tip. Then the borders are continued at the same time as the centre section, which is worked from simple chart repeats with increases to shape. Once the mid-point is reached, decreases are worked towards the furthest tip, mirroring the increase section. **Size & Fit:** One size 98 cm (39 inches) length and 34 cm (14 inches) width. All measurements are for the finished item, according to the given gauge. **Gauge:** 29 sts and 40 rows to 10 x 10 cm [4 x 4 inches] in chart pattern on 3.5 mm [US 4] needles, after blocking. **Suggested yarn:** 150g Drops Garn Soft Tweed (50g = 130m [142 yds]) shown in colour Guacamole 16 *or* 100g Rosa Pomar Vovó (50g = 143m [156 yards] **Needles:** 3.5 mm [US 4] 80 / 100 cm [32 / 40 inch] circular needles or 35 cm [14 inch] straight needles.
