Plush Roly Poly Pill Bug

This is my second Roly Poly Pill Bug crochet pattern, and it has fewer details to sew (the segments are crocheted in one piece). It was designed for blanket yarn Pill Bug, but the pattern works with any yarn weight. With a toy joint skeleton, you can make it roll into a ball for extra cuteness! :) The PDF is in English, using US crochet terms, consists of 8 pages and has a lot of helpful photos. Size of crocheted Roly Poly Pill Bug using specified materials below is approximately 15 inches in length. You can use any weight yarn (with appropriate hook) to make a larger or smaller Pill Bug. Materials: *Yarn - I used Alize Velluto (3.53 Oz - 74.3 yds) about 2 skeins of beige, 4 skeins of dark gray *Hook 5.5 mm (I always use smaller hook than yarn manufacturer suggests to avoid gaps in work) *Pins (I used plastic big needles) *Fiberfill *Stitch markers *Safety eyes (I used 24 mm diameter but you can use bigger or smaller eyes) *Tapestry needle *Optional: plush toy skeleton joint about 10 - 12 inches length, the piece of any fabric 25 X 2.5 inches (note: for the small pill bug made of sport wight yarn - 9 mm diameter of skeleton joints.
