A soft , lightweight scarflette that gently spirals, evoking fern fronds unfurling in the spring. **MATERIALS** ● Malabrigo Rios, 100% Merino wool, 100g/192m/210yds Yarn A: Glitter 048 x 1 skein Yarn B: Lettuce 037 x 1 skein Yarn C: Cereza 033 x 1 skein ● 5mm hook **YARN ALTERNATIVES** Any worsted or aran-weight superwash wool or wool blend can be used to achieve a similar effect. Less than 100g of each colour is required to complete the project in the featured size; the actual amount of Malabrigo Rios used was approximately 70g of yarn A, and 35g each of yarns B and C. **TENSION** Exact tension is not essential for this project. The length of the scarf can easily be adjusted to your own requirements by changing the length of the foundation treble row: crochet a multiple of 3+1 trebles in a foundation row approximately 15cm/6in shorter than the required final length when slightly stretched.
