Cider Twist Socks

**About the Pattern** Cider Twist Socks is my very first sock pattern! I’ve been knitting socks for quite some time and truly enjoy the process. Over the past few months, I’ve felt a strong urge to start designing my own patterns and this felt like just the right moment to take the leap. These socks are knit from the cuff down (though toe-up could also work with some adjustments). The texture is created using mostly knit stitches and slipped stitches, which flow seamlessly into the first section of the heel. The heel is constructed using the shadow wrap short row method, but feel free to substitute it with your favorite heel technique. The Cider Twist Socks have a playful feel, thanks to the slipped stitches that create subtle texture and movement.
