Sundrop Flower Granny Square Bag

Hook up a beautiful bag covered in a meadow of crochet flowers. I took my inspiration from mid century modern textile and wallpaper designs of the 1950's and 1960's. The granny square used in the bag is named after the Sundrop flower, a four petaled flower species belonging to the Evening Primrose family. It is native to North America, liking open habitats, including dry woodland, rocky outcrops and moist savannas. (The Disney Movie Tangled features a Sundrop flower but theirs looks more like a Lily).
