Deima’s Crochet Cardi

DEIMA'S CROCHET CARDI Another absolute favorite Deima classic is now finally available for those of you who want to knit it yourself. CROCHET CARDI is a cute raglan design, with wide sleeves, and fun crochet details. The cardigan is knitted from the bottom up. The body and the two sleeves are knitted separately, in 3 parts. Finally, a border is crocheted around all the edges of the cardigan, and the sleeves are crocheted onto the body. The barrettes for the buttons are made with chain stitches and sewn on as small loops at the end. Yarn: 1 strand of Peruvian Highland Wool + 1 strand of Tilia, both from Filcolana (shown in color 241 in PHW and 325 Tilia, with 370 PHW as contrast). Needles: 7 mm circular needles, 80 cm & 40 cm length Gauge: 14 stitches x 18 rows = 10 cm x 10 cm in stockinette stitch Sizes: 1 (2) 3 (4) Bust circumference: 94 (100) 105 (110) cm Yarn total: 400 (400) 450 (500) g Peruvian Highland Wool and 100 (100) 125 (125) g Tilia or 125 (125) 150 (175) g Alva, all from Filcolana in the main color. 50 g Peruvian Highland Wool for the crocheted edges (no mohair).
