Part of Your Story was originally published as the first ever Sannila Designs shawl knitalong! Now the pattern is out in all it's textured glory, with all sorts of fun slip-stitch patterns, bit of short-rows, bit of garter and a wearable triangular shape. You won't get bored with this one! **Size:** One size, large. **Yarn:** Wool Me Once Fibers Elsa (100 % Finnish wool, 360 m / 100 g) or other fingering weight yarn. Shown in colours Weeping Angels (C1), Sail and Seek (C2) and Woods (C3). 1 skein of each. **Yardage:** C1: 340 yards / 305 meters. C2: 380 yards / 345 meters. C3: 394 yards /360 meters. **Needle:** 3,5 mm (US 4) and 3,75 mm (US 5) - 40 " / 100 cm circular needle (you might want an even longer needle or a second one in the smaller size). Adjust needle size if necessary to obtain the right gauge to match each section of the shawl. **Gauge:** **Garter stitch** on the smaller needle: 22 sts x 40 rows = 4 x 4" / 10 x 10 cm after blocking, 23 sts x 50 rows before blocking. **Secret stitch pattern** on the bigger needle: 23 sts x 40 rows = 4 x 4" / 10 x 10 cm after blocking, 26 sts x 40 rows before blocking.
