Capelan Skirt

............................. CAPELAN SKIRT ............................. Originally a fun experiment in transforming a sweater yoke into a skirt, this design 
explores proportions and fit with the end-goal of optimal wearability. 

 Constructed using the same principles as the [Capelan Pullover][1], the Capelan Skirt 
features central pleats at the front and back, to achieve its subtly flared A-Line 
shape that suits a diverse range of body types. The simple construction is both 
entertaining and auto-piloty. And the result delightfully wearable. Written for DK-Aran weight yarns, the pattern includes instructions for modifying gauge, as well as a general 'recipe' for knitting this skirt in any yarn, at any gauge. ............................. MATERIALS & INFORMATION SIZING a range of 15 sizes, to suit waist circumference from 60cm/ 24" to 130cm/ 52" in 5cm/ 2" increments +additional instructions provided for custom sizing
