This pattern includes a few of my favorite sock-knitting techniques: a Dutch slip-stitch heel with gussets and a star toe decrease. With instructions for six sizes, you can knit a pair for nearly every family member! Whether you’re a beginner or an experienced knitter, this enjoyable and straightforward pattern is a satisfying project for all skill levels. Koto socks are worked top down starting with the cuff. This pattern includes a heel flap and gusset construction with a Dutch heel turn (box heel) and a star toe (also known as round toe). **SIZES** 1, 2 ,3, (4, 5, 6) Recommended to fit a foot circumference of 16, 18, 20 (23, 25, 28) cm / 6, 7, 8 (9, 10, 11) inches. These socks are intended to be worn with approximately 1–2.5 cm / 0.5–1 inches of negative ease.
