The 2023 Case of the Missing Lace

Since 2014, there has been a new lace sampler scarf and/or shawl released so we can try out different techniques and strategies to increase our lace knitting skills. Except, where is the 2023 project? It is The Case of the Missing Lace. To rectify the situation, we will follow the eight clues to find the missing lace scarf. Like the other 'Year Of' scarves, this one will have multiple lace patterns to carry you through the clues to the end. There may be a small bonus pattern or two along the way to help out. This, like the 2024 Year of Peace Scarf, can be done in all one color or you can use up the leftover small balls of yarn from previous projects. Beads or no beads, Knitter's choice. Whatever you decide, it is sure to be a fun knit to find the completed scarf. Clues will be released on the 23rd of each month from April 2025 through November 2025. This gives plenty of time at the end of the year to find the completed scarf, block it, and wear it or gift it during the holiday season.
