Hollo Bandana

A simple garter triangle enhanced with holes, shaped with simple increases and decreases. **Materials:** Etesia, 1 skein, shown in Atoll **Dimensions:** 35.5”/90 cm straight edge, 21”/53 cm sloped edges **Needle:** US 6/4.00 mm needles (straight or circular); or size needed to obtain gauge **Notions:** Tapestry needle **Gauge:** 20 sts x 33 rows in Garter stitch = 4”/10 cm square, blocked **Skill level:** Intermediate **Techniques:** Garter stitch, holes, increases and decreases, I-cord edges **Construction Notes** Started with a small number of stitches, Hollo grows with increases on the left side while the hole pattern is worked throughout the bandana in garter stitch. After the midpoint, stitches are decreased on the left side to complete the triangle. An I-cord neatly trims the edges.
