**Description** The square pattern is designed to repeat, so you can continue the pattern until the desired size of afghan is achieved. It is crocheted in the round. This pattern is for beginner to intermediate crocheters. There are only two stitches used in this filet. Crocheters are easily able to change the pattern to produce different variants of the illusion. **Yarn:** I recommend a 4 to 6 ply cotton/acrylic yarn. Any yarn could be employed if the recommended hook size is used, however a finer yarn with a smaller hook will produce a smaller item.
