Kilim Scarf

The **Kilim Scarf** is inspired by the intricate geometric designs of Persian rugs, bringing their timeless beauty into a fun and engaging knit. It’s the perfect balance of structure and creativity, making every row a joy to knit! **Kilim scarf** is rectangular shape, knitted sideways on a bias. Only one color is worked at the time. The pattern can be worked from the written instructions or the charts. You can adjust the scarf’s size and look by casting on more or fewer stitches, working more or fewer repeats in each section, and using a different number of colors. You can also work the pattern in a thicker yarn using the appropriate needle size. ----------------- **YARN:** * (MC) - **[Miss Babs Yummy 2-ply][1]** (100% SW Merino, 400 yd /110g) - 1 skein, shown in **Plover** * (CC) - **[Miss Babs Estrellita][2]** (92% SW Merino wool, 8% Lurex, 400 yd /115g) - 1 skein, shown in **Deep Sea Jellyfish** **or** any similar fingering weight yarn in 2 contrasting colors. **NEEDLES:** US #4/ 3.5 mm circular needles (or as required to get the gauge) **NOTIONS:** darning needle. **GAUGE:** 24 sts x 56 rows = 4” in pattern.
