**GRAPE AND GRAMMA** is an elegant sweater worked in stockinette stitch with a distinctive slipped stitch pattern. The slipped stitch pattern is straightforward. In this project, what looks like a stranded pattern is knitted with one color at a time, lowering the difficulty level. The sweater is worked seamlessly from the top down. First, stitches are cast on for the shoulder line which is placed on the front piece. The front piece is worked back and forth to the bottom of the armholes. From here, the shoulders are worked and joined to form the back piece which is also worked to the bottom of the armholes. Back and front sections are then joined to form the body which is worked in the round. Stitches for the sleeves are picked up and finished with a cuff in twisted rib. Short rows are worked on both front section, back section and sleeves to create a good fit. **Sizes** Sizes: 1 (2) 3 (4) 5 Bust circumference: 104 (112) 128 (144) 152 cm Length 1: 53 cm Length 2: 61 cm Sleeve length 1: 46 cm Sleeve length 2: 49 cm Sleeve length 3: 51 cm Sleeve length 4: 53 cm How much positive ease you like in your clothes varies from person to person. Measuring some of your favorite sweaters can help you choose the perfect size. The length of the sleeves depends on your height and how much positive ease you choose for your sweater. A rule of thumb is that the bigger the positive ease is, the shorter the sleeves will become. This is also the case with the two sweaters shown in the pictures in the pattern. Version 1 has 45 cm of positive ease. Version 1 features length 1 and sleeve length 1. Version 2 has 21 cm of positive ease.
