With its lacy, floral look, it is a great way to spice up a plain tee, shirt or pullover. The front and back of the vest are interchangeable so it can be worn with either neckline. **CONSTRUCTION** Flemish motifs are crocheted and connected at the same time to make the front and back panels. The front and back panels are constructed separately, then finished with a border and side ties. Cotton or linen fibers are recommended. Avoid fluffy yarn like mohair as the resulting vest will lack structure. If you must use mohair, pair it with a sturdier yarn. Yarn fibers that are difficult to block (like acrylic and bamboo) are also not recommended. Sizes 1, 3 and 4: Use fingering or sport weight yarn and the appropriate hook size to meet gauge.
