Fat rib hat is worked bottom up in 5x5 ribbing with worsted weight yarn / dk weight + lace weight yarn / sport weight yarn held double. Body of the hat is worked on 4.0 mm [US 6] needles. The hat is designed to be one solid colour or two colours. In colorwork hat there is no need to catch your floats. The hat has a triple folded brim.
