The Wall Of Stitches Sampler Blanket

The Wall Of Stitches Sampler Blanket is a quirky and fun project that gives you the chance to try out 48 different crochet stitches in bite sized pieces. The pieces are then joined together to make the whole blanket look like a patch of bricks that's been pulled out of a brick wall - jutting out bricks down the side included. This [pattern is available for free on my blog here][1] or the ad free pdf can be purchased here on Ravelry. Each of the 48 pieces is made with a different crochet stitch, the pieces are then joined together with the flat braid join which is crocheted, not sewn. You can make this pattern as colourful or plain as you choose. I chose to use 9 different colours - 8 for the bricks and 1 for the joining and bordering colour. I would recommend using at least 2 different colours though. Each stitch has a video that you can crochet along with and the written pattern has pictures to show you each step in making the stitches. To make the Wall Of Stitches Sampler Blanket you will need: * 3400 meters of aran weight yarn in at least 2 different colours - I used Paintbox Cotton Aran * 4.5mm hook * Needle to weave in your ends This pattern would suit an intermediate level crocheter.
