Inspired by our Vermont Winter vacations, the Brushwood Raglan is the offspring of my Brushwood Cowl. This simple colorwork motif is reminiscent of the kindling used to ignite our warm fires on the cold nights. This pattern is easily memorized, making it a great first-colowork project for beginners but also a wonderfully meditative project for seasoned knitters. The universally flattering Raglan shaping makes this oversized, bulky sweater a winter fave! I hope you love knitting and wearing this cozy piece! **FINISHED MEASUREMENTS** FINISHED MEASUREMENTS Sizes 1 (2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9) Finished Chest Measurement:  34.5 (39.5, 44.25, 49.25, 54.25, 59, 64, 69, 73.75)” / 86.5 (99, 110.5, 123, 135.5, 147.5, 160, 172.5, 184.5)cm Neck Opening:  16 (17.25, 17.25, 17.25, 17.25, 18.5, 18.5, 18.5, 19.75)” / 40 (43, 43, 43, 43, 46.5, 46.5, 46.5, 49.5)cm Sleeve Length - Measured from Underarm: 18”/45cm (Same for all sizes) Upper Arm Circumference: 11.75 (14.25, 16, 17.25, 19, 20.25, 21.5, 23.5, 24.5)” / 29.5 (35.5, 40, 43, 47.5, 50.5, 54, 59, 61.5)cm Cuff Circumference:  8 (8, 8, 9.25, 9.25, 9.75, 10.5, 10.5, 10.5)” / 20 (20, 20, 23, 23, 24.5, 26.5, 26.5, 26.5)cm Raglan Depth - Measured from Center Back Neck, exclusive of Neck Ribbing: 8 (9, 10.5, 12.5, 14.5, 15.5, 17.5, 19.5, 21)” / 20 (22.5, 26.5, 31.5, 36.5, 39, 44, 49, 52.5)cm Length - Underarm to Hem: 12.5” / 31.5cm Total Length - Measured from Center Back Neck to Hem, exclusive of Neck Ribbing (H) 20.5 (21.5, 23, 25, 27, 28, 30, 32, 33.5)” / 51.5 (54, 57.5, 62.5, 67.5, 70, 75, 80, 84)cm *NOTE: Sample 1 shown is size 2 (39.5"/99cm), worn with approximately 5.5”/14cm of positive ease at the chest in colors Walnut (MC) and Lotus (CC). Short rows are used to raise the back neck and shape the neck opening. Charted instructions are provided for the Brushwood Pattern on Yoke, Body and Sleeves.
